Who is eligible to apply to Evroproces?

You're eligible if you are an EU, EEA, or Swiss citizen, or if you already hold a valid Slovenian or Croatian residence-and-work permit. This applies regardless of nationality — what matters is your current legal right to work, not your passport.

Why does Evroproces require EU/EEA/CH work authorization or an SI/HR permit?

Accepted Answer

Evroproces places workers under the EU Posted Workers Directive (96/71/EC), a legal framework built for intra-EU/EEA/Swiss labour mobility — A1 certificates, host-country notifications and equal-pay rules. Sponsoring a fresh work visa for someone without existing EU/EEA/CH authorization falls outside this framework entirely, so we're not able to do it at this time.

I don't hold an EU passport, but I have a valid Slovenian or Croatian permit — can I apply?

Yes. A valid Slovenian or Croatian residence-and-work permit qualifies you to apply, regardless of your nationality or passport country. That's exactly the situation this requirement is designed to include.

Question 4

What is an A1 certificate?

Accepted Answer

An A1 certificate is the portable document that proves a posted worker's social security coverage stays in their home country while working temporarily in another EU/EEA/CH state. Evroproces files an A1 before every cross-border placement.

What if I don't currently have EU/EEA/CH work authorization or a Slovenian/Croatian permit?

We're not able to sponsor a new work visa from outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland at this time. You're welcome to still submit an application — we keep it on file and will reach out if your situation changes.
